On my 4020 only when cold after start up I try to do a cold start and the s key does'nt work. Also a few other keys around the s don't work.If I heat the board on the back it seems to work. Also today I went to use CD,8 TA,1 and it would not except the input.Any ideas what might be wrong? |

| Yep, my keyboard on my VMC 10 does the same thing. Started a couple of years ago. I dont use it that much. But I am always reminded about this time of year as the temp drops. It seems the left end of the keyboard is affected. I think its a membrane board that tends to flex. The warmth from the monitor tends to fix the problem after the machine is turned on for a while. Good luck. |
