Displaying Cycle Timers while running?

Right now while I am in cycle I have a Buf=, when the cycle is complete I get a timer showing the actual cycle time. Is there someway to have the timer displayed instead of the Buf= while running?

Thanks,
Don

While the machine is running you will need to type in the letters MU. This will bring up alot of different options. The one you want is #15 which is Display Clocks. Just type in 15 and hit enter. It will then display some times including
the one that you are running. I have noticed that if you stay in the menu too long the machine comes to a stop like a single block. So don't stay in there to long. Hope that helps you.

Thanks, that is a nice to know, but it is not exactly what I was looking for. It displays the timers, but only while you are in that menu.

In the upper right box of the screen there is a spot where it displays the cycle time at the end of the cycle or if you hit slide hold. When the machine is in cycle it displays BUF=, which I assume is the number of blocks in the buffer. I could really care less how many blocks are in the buffer, but I would like to see how much time is left in the cycle. Is there anyway to have that display stay on the cycle timer instead of the BUF=?

Thanks,
Don

Blocks in the buffer is way more important than time...
you can use macros to show runtime during a tool change or similar.

The timers will only display while you are in the manual mode. A macro statement can be used along with the PRINT statement to display a given timer.

I guess that is relative to the user, because I could care less how many blocks are in the buffer.

Thanks,
Don
