VH65 rotab blues

Hello all,hope business has been good for you this year.I have a VH65 rotab with a broken magnet.Unlike the good old days when Fadal parts were reasonable,this poor quality,cheaply built motor is now 1800.,which is on the high side of unreasonable.So heres the question,has any one found a better quality or cheaper repacement?Maybe converted something else?I have considered haveing the magnets made and building a new outer housing,as an aftermarket part-Have any thoughts on my delema?Now ya know why Gene Hass is laughing all the way to the bank.....
