I have a 2001 VMC3020, my low range belt is driving me crazy! Some days its not to bad but other days I can't here myself think. I bought a new set of belts but I heard somewhere that the motor mounts also can cause the sqeaking? Has anyone had this problem? Thanks A+ |

Seems to always happen in low range. Ckeck your pulleys for a build-up of dried coolant/oil in the bottom of the vvvvvvvvv. I clean it out with MEK and a fine S.S. welders brush. Also on new belts the paint marking sometimes makes a squeek when it goes by the idler, you can scotch-brite that off. |

Fadal did change the coolant thru seal system. I have a 2007 3020 with air lines going to the seal system. I have not pulled the cover off to see what is different. I does have a timer relay that stops the seal air flow about 5 sec. after the coolant is shut off. |
