I replaced my Spindle drive on a 4020, and now the Fadal control will not start the spindle. I get a spindle drive fault motor overload error. I can run the spindle in Local mode from the keypad just fine. I have checked the wiring and everything is good. I have checked the parameters 4 times and everything is the same as the one I took out. I checked the spindle control card everything looks good there too. Any suggestions would be great. thanks Anthony  |

| Sounds to me like the logic is wrong for the relay output from the VFD if this is where the OL is monitored from, some have NO as well as NC contacts for the relay outputs, it you have a separate OL on a contactor check it for trip. Find out where the Control gets the OL info from. Al.

| I just found out that Fadal puts their own eproms on the drive, and just a Baldor drive off the shelf will not work. Got the right one coming now. Thanks for the help guys. |
