    Won't start up

My 3016 powers on but when the power up button is pushed nothing happens. I tried replacing the ss relays.Somtimes it will start after tuning on and off a couple of times. As far as the power supply is there a way of testing outputs? I checked my 4020 and compared values. Is there a relay in back panel that enerigizes power supply in side panel? The PS I have looks like a PC unit but I have a spare for my 4020 but it has a giant transformer are these compatable? Any ideas would help>

Check K1 and K2 relays on the 1100-1 power distribution board. Also check for the 110 volt input to the 1200 DC power supply and the 5 volt and +12 and -12 volts out put from the DC power supply.

When you press the Green button 110 volts are applied to the 1220 power supply. This by pases the K1 relay. When the power supply comes up the out put of the 5 volts latches the K1 relay so that 110 power can continue to power the power supply.
Measure the 5 volt terminal while someelse presses and hold down the Green Button. If you still get no 5 volts then replace the 1220 power supply.

It was the power supply. I had a spare and was amazed how different the machine sounded on start up.It also seems to run better. I think it has been going bad for a while.
