Tomorrow morning I have to take the spindle motor off a 89' VMC 40. Fadal just installed a 6 to 2 belt conversion kit for me and during the install he discovered a during an earlier repair a tech stripped both mounting bolts in the motor. I just need lift it enough for clearance to install a helicoil on both sides. The plan is to support the motor on the sheet metal on either side then Z- untill i have the room to work. I am sure this will be really easy right up to the point I start. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. RJ |
