Just learning my way around a 3016, also have limited CNC experience in general. My machine has a floppy, but I cannot figure out how to load a program from it. Read the manuals cover to cover.

| After booting up and doing the cold start thing, hit the 'manual' button, then cycle through the menus with the space bar. In one of the menus should be an option that says "Disk". Hit that option, then you should see an option that says "Disk to Memory" On my machine I usually have to do a search...and you have to make sure there are no extensions on the file you're trying to load...Fadal-a-trol don't like extensions. Be sure to save your file on the floppy without an extension before trying to load it. |
