Default Fadal VMC15 Bad Finish in Y movement but not X

    Hey FADAL community,

I recently replaced 2 Axis control cards and Both X+Y resolvers.

Before I had this done, my X had a choppy profile finishes and my Y would have clean profile edges. Since the work I am now getting the total opposite from before. I notice the warmer it is in my shop the worse the finish is.

Has anyone had this issue before, and how did you resolve it?

    CNC88HS control.

    Thank you.
    Matthew D

Have someone come in and run a ballbar. That will tell you. It could be a number of things. Did you put brand new resolvers in? Could be just a dirty tach on the motor. Is your following error fluctuating when running program 5811? Could be bearings in linear rails. Low chance though. Running the ball bar is the easiest and your not tearing your machine apart.
