Question Fadal TRM 3 axes machining center

I need some help in choosing a post process engine from Gibbs Cam to run on a Fadal TRM 3 axis milling center using format 2 g code.
Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can use a simple, clean posting codes? We do not have a tool changer, or threading z axes., so we are concerned with simple milling and hole location.
    Thank you,
    Bob R

    Bob,

I believe Gibbs will write one for you. It appears that you are looking for one that will automatically leave out all the tool change programming which should be a fairly quick tweak for Gibbs.

That's about all I know about that.

    Good luck.

my post processor (camworks) does not leave out the tool change commands. When the machine reaches that point in the post, the machine will go to the home position and stop. Then you will get a change tool prompt on the trm. After you manually change tools you hit the start button and the program will continue to the next tool change.

When programming for the TRM machine you do not need to leave out the tool call (M6T1). When the TRM control reads this it will go into a waiting state and flash CHANGE TOOL in the space normally used by the WAITING word. Once the controls see the manual tool change button activated on the head stock, you can press auto and the control will continue. This allows you to run all your normal Fadal programs on the TRM without having to edit the tool call.
