HI!
I often find the answers to my questions just by Google searching, but this time no luck.
We are having trouble with wiring gremlins in our 1994 Fadal 4020.
The power up usually OK, but when it's time for the spindle to turn on we get an error most mornings. I believe it shows "Z axis fault" or sometimes the software just freezes and we get no response from the keyboard.
I'll shut the main power off, pull the z axis board and reseat it, then try to get the bullet connectors into the 1010 board to seat better. They are quite loose.
This usually fixes it.
After a successful start up, there will be no more issues. It's like when the machine is cold, it gets temperamental.
I'd like to replace the bullet connectors *photo attached but don't know what they are called. Please help.
Thank you
