Quick question: Why does the following program execute without having to press the START button? Just by pressing AUTO, the program executes. % o9080 G90 G20 G0 G17 G40 G80 (FIXTURE SETUP FOR 006-0080) (SET E1 AND E11 ON CORNERS AND FIXTURE SURFACES) (WARNING: WILL OVERWRITE E1-E4, E11-E14, E21-E24) #CLEAR (FOLLOWING OVERWRITES E1-E4) #V1=1.929 #V2=5.866 #V3=0.4466 #V4=-2.8086 #V5=0.68 #V10=FX1 #V11=FY1 #V12=(FZ1+V5) #FX1=(V10+V1) #FX2=(V10+V2) #FX3=(V10+V2) #FX4=(V10+V1) #FY1=(V11+V4) #FY2=(V11+V4) #FY3=(V11+V3) #FY4=(V11+V3) #FZ1=V12 #FZ2=V12 #FZ3=V12 #FZ4=V12 (FOLLOWING OVERWRITES E11-E14) (FOLLOWING OVERWRITES E21-E24) M2 % Any help is appreciated. | fpworks-- Your program is all macro statements and no G code statements. Macros are executed when the are loaded into the buffer. When you press AUTO the program is loaded into the buffer up to 255 blocks. Since your program is much shorter than that it is fully loaded into the buffer and processed. Neal |
