    Problems With My Fadal

Hey guys, I got a problem with my Fadal. It started yesterday and is continuing to do it now. Im running a program for engraving on one of my parts. Ive ran the program before and not sure whats going on. When I hit start machine hesitates then says ATC will not move VE Home. If I keep messing with it I'll get a Y axis fault limit. I can keep jacking with it a somtimes get it to go. The machine is a 1998 4020A with the 88HS control. Any ideas whats going on?

    Thanks, Mark

    Thumbs up

ok I think I figured it out. The L shaped arm on the ATC has a bolt with a bearing on it that slides through the slot on the L shaped arm. The nut is missing off the top of the bolt with the bearing on it. It has some play in it which is making the ATC think its not in the home postition.

    Thanks anyway guys.
