Rotary Table To Mill A Cam

I dont even know where to start with machining a 6" diameter cam using a fadal rotary table. I was looking at an old program and it has movement in the x and y axis but doesnt show movement in the A axis. The cam has a few different angles and radius's. Im have mastercam 8 and i dont know if i know how to program a 4th axis using it but could i get the points and program X and A moves to get the contours. Thanks

    Jedi--
Check the G17 Q?? code in the cam wrapping under rotarty in the User's manual. This will wrap the Y axis around a cyclinder.
This may be what you are looking for as it was originally designed for making cams.

Thanks that explains why the old drawings were done on the xy axis. It explains how to cut cams in the manual i now see so hopefully it works out well.
ps This site is helping me get my next raise.
