    Where to Get ram upgrade?

    I have a 2001 VMC3020 and it has 166k of ram, board# PCB-0041
I need to upgrade to 442k which is Part# PCB-0042.
Does anyone have a used board they would like to sell?
Or does anyone know where I can get one for less than $500?
It seem rediculas to pay $500 for Ram thats worth about $5 today!
Thanks in advance for any help.
    A+ Machining

    Thanks for the tip!
Did you get it direct from Fadal in CA? or from your local Distributor?

    Talking

The field tech swapped out our main board w/4Mb RAM because of a failure under warranty, and the only memory he had with him was an 8Mb. When we got the new replacement he made me a deal to keep the 8Mb memory for 1/2 off....maybe because it was already 'used'.....

$500 for the extra 4Mb of RAM was expensive,,,but I figured in the long run we'd benefit.

Nice to know I have 7.6Mb of RAM I'm not using.........

easy way to upgrade your memory

Make a backup of your program tool and fixture data
Write down the parameter and the backless amount
Shut off the machine and then take out the CPU card
This card is like sandwich one is the CPU and attaches to him is
The parameter card it small one and the memory card
Take out the memory card write down the type of chips
There or go with it to any electronic shop
They can feel it with the missing chips
I think for less then 100$
Put it back to the CPU and then to the machine
Then write on the screen in enter next command
    DI enter
    Then G0 3000 enter
    Then space for second page
    Number 5 cleaning memory
Shut down the machine then put the parameter back and you have
466K memory I think in less then 100$
