hey guys I have a air/oil (no grease) 10k spindle. How often should the oil drops be dropping in the lubricator ? And how do I adjust that? Seems to be coming pretty darned slow and I couldn't find any air/oil info, just that the new ones are grease. |

| Shizzlemah-- It depends on the age of the Air/Oil spindle. If it is the original A/O spindle from the late 80's or early 90"s, then the drip rate should be 1 drop every two seconds. If it is the latest style from 2000 or later then the Bijuoir Automatic Oiling unit should fire for 10 seconds every 20 minutes during operation. The automatic unit regulates the amount of oil supplied. Over oiling will cause the bearings to run hot just as fast as under oiling. Neal |
