Thinking of a few upgrades to my 4020HT - Probe?

Interested in adding a Renishaw probe to my 1995 4020HT with CNC88HS....Has anyone done this? Is it even an option? I am just looking into it - don't have a lot of info on probes right now, but from what I have seen, it appears to be something I could use....looks like it sure can simplify setup.

Also going to be adding a 4th axis....I have the turn table and motor, just need to get the amp, drive card, and ??? Anyone have any insight on this?

for probe info call renishaw they will help you over the phone in mins and answer any questions on probes for the fadal.
I did last year didnt add one yet. I think there is a few threads on this also with the parts and umbers you need to do so.

for the 4th axis stuff call the guys in Idaho they have everything and Brian is a big help

You should have no problem adding the Renishaw probe to your machine. Are you looking for a tool setting probe or a work-piece probe? We have used and new Renishaw probes available depending on which one you are looking for.

We can help you make sure you have the right rotary table and motor for your machine. We can provide the complete servo package which includes the amp, card and other pieces you need to adopt the rotary table onto your machine.
