I've bought from the factory and cncpros.com quite a bit, neither has let me down. Usually cncpros has a small price advantage.

(no connection to either place etc etc.)

We've bought from CNC-pros and they are definitely cheaper than the factory. It seems that Fadal is buying up all the rebuilt stuff for themselves, which leaves you out in the cold for buying a refurb.

Just curious and not being a jerk, but how did you roast a 4th axis motor? If its not needed asap, just send it out to be rebuilt. It'll save you a ton of cash, but no 4th axis for a couple of weeks. Also, are you sure its the motor? I've convinced myself that X was the problem, throw 2K at it and it was actually something else.

A while back we had a ton of problems with our 4th axis and it all came down to one thing, a frayed wire, which was a giant pain to find since it would work for a couple of weeks, and then start throwing errors, different one each time, which made it difficult to trace.

how can you say that that cnc-pros are cheaper
at the factory you can buy new one at 1430$
by cnc-pros the price1500$
at KMAC the price 1200$
now you can find who is cheaper
i am positive that the problem is in the motor since all
the magnet fall
by the way to send it two ways it will be the same
price as to buy new one

wierd all I've ever tried to buy was driver boards, and CNC-pros were about $100 cheaper. $1750 or so from Fadal, $1600 from CNC-Pros. They can keep their $250 core, I'm going to send the blown one out for a rebuild for $400.
