Do you mean 'end float' ? A floater is something altogether different !!!!!!
Hi!
How to remove the floater from the spindle?
A magnet does not work unfortunately.... i think the two bearingballs
don't come to the center enough.

ohh sorry - i mean "DRB-0004 : FLOATER RING NON-LDB & LDB"
in the spindle-end
Use as strong a magnet as you can find (rare earth type) to pull the balls
out of the spindle groove into the floater, grease and damage may prevent
the balls from retracting
The floater can get distorted and damaged, you may have to lay on the table and split it with a die grinder as a last option.
thanks!and split it with a die grinder as a last option.
it went easier than I thought....
I used a small grinder and made the holes a little bigger
... 10 minutes - floater was out![]()
