    Servo question

    I have an older Fadal and have read that flaky servos could just need cleaned
    out. My machine has the Glentek mtr0002 motors does anyone know how these come apart? I'm all about saving $1000 .
    Thanks guys

    Before taking it apart, try this: type a program for that motor axis (eg;
    Z-10.G1F150.
    Z10.
    Remove the cover; run the program, spry inside with WD40, motor will run smooth. (works for me)

    The problem I can see with that is if there is a build up of carbon it will soak it with paraffin oil and may make a nice base for tracking to ground.
