Interested in a good Running Fadal VMC in Southeast....

I am in the market for a good running well cared for Fadal VMC in the Southeast. I am in Tennessee. I would prefer a VMC15XT or 3016 and the higher the spindle speed the better because I am mostly going to be making aluminum parts with it. Would also prefer 4th axis prewired. I have seen MANY 20x16 machines for $10k or less and would be willing to pay a little more than that for the right machine close to me.... I can pick it up with my Sons heavy duty diesel truck and heavy equipment trailer. I would prefer a mid 90's machine but would consider any well cared for good running machine within a reasonable price range. Thanks and peace

... this is a good forum to get info on Fadals from. Don't rush... and take your time buying... most dealers will come down 20%. Others, maybe 10 %. They want to sell as bad as you want to buy. He who waits the longest... wins.

I wrote the "seven year Fadal build" here also, better editing here.

    Yeah well....

That may be true but from what I have seen MOST of them price their machines so high that they would need to come down AT LEAST %20 to be in a range that is even close to reality. I have seen MANY machines sell all over the country from both dealers and private individuals to see what they are actually worth. Just check ebay once in a while and you will see machines that should be around ten to fifteen posted for 25k plus... It really is frustrating and then when you do contact them they are rude and act like you are wasting their time. Believe me I am ready to buy here but from what I see they think they have a Gold plated machine or something. I actually contacted on dealer in Florida who had a decent looking Fadal for sale. I asked him what his best price was on it and he actually asked me if I had the money and if I could wire it to him today?? I told him thanks and sorry to have bothered him...

I posted this here to see if MAYBE there is someone in my general area that has a machine that they are maybe upgrading from or just retiring or something similar. I am just trying to see what gives in all possible areas... Thanks for your insight tho.... peace

    Pete
