Did the PC-type power supply give out?
Last week I had to go thru the dump and reload parameters routine
after a "memory error".
It ran OK all day Saturday.
This evening on start up in the cold start cycle something tripped
and I have a black screen. I have power coming in the main, thru that grey
box below but nothing into the three fuses on the side of the amplifier board box.
The fuses check ok with the meter.
The contactor below the amplifiers is hot, I assume that controls the draw bar.
Usually the red number led lights are lit on the amplifier cards but not now.
Only one little green led is lit on this board. usually the relay leds are lit.
I hope I missed a fuse or breaker somewhere.
Anyone have any Ideas? This machine has a lot of work to do, and on the quick.
Thanks in advance.

That's what I'm thinking. Later I searched around on the site and found some
similar situations.
It's taking power in at 250 volts on the right and the meter shows nothing
on the other side between red and white wires, or to ground.
Would that kill crt and everything else?
Thanks,
kap
I don't remember, but I think so.Would that kill crt and everything else?
I custom wired a PC unit into mine when it died a bunch of years ago.

Darabee,
You're right the power supply is fried.
Some little component on the back burnt clean off.
Have a new one ordered to be in Friday.
I'm buying it local thru the Fadal Dealership Pinnacle CNC.
I believe in supporting the local business even if it costs
a couple bucks more.
Thanks for your help.
