I have a Fadal 4020 with a mitsubishi vvvf transister inverster and have never been able to get the 10000 rpm I should. The parameter for spindle rpm is correct and when I had the "Fadal guy" look at it he said it was because of the phase converter. The mistsubihi people say that all the outputs from the inverter are correct and it's not their problem ! Need a good electrician/drive tech.

Meg your motor and check the command signal coming from the 1010 spindle controller card.

Thanks Neil but I don't have a megger and am not an electrician..wish you weren't on the west coast.
