Has anyone had a problem getting a large arc ,653", to run properly? All I get is a samll 1/2" arc then a straight line pass to the other end of the 30" long cut and then the same small arc on the other end. The code is correct and I can't figure out what is going on. Thanks in advance for any help!! |

| I don't know the solution, but I'm sure folks will want to know what version of software your 88HS control has? Also, you might post a snippet of your code so we can see what format G2/G3 you are using and what parameters you are supplying (I'll be glad to try and duplicate this on my 3016 just to see what happens). Assuming it's a bug in the control that you can't upgrade -- can you use a CAM program to generate the necessary G-code as line segments or large radius arc's that the machine will do? |

| dcalp-- The arc limits for the Fadal control when using the G2/G3 codes are 399.99" without cutter compensation and 99.99" when using cutter compensation. To cut any larger arc you must use the spline point approach. |
