I am looking on some advice on a spindle inverter for my machine. I have a 4020, HT, RTap, 15HP and currently have a INV-0056 (AMC Inverter). I have been offered, as replacement the following: INV-0020 (Baldor) INV-077 (Yaskawa) INV-096 (AMC) Can any one offer their opinion as to what has been suggested as replacments. I want to try and stay away from the AMC. I know very little about the Yaskawa and would like any feed back. Last edited by raps; 02-25-2010 at 03:56 PM.  |

| Call Practecllc.com first before you ditch your AMC
__________________ We have had good luck with our Fadals milling mostly soft steel and aluminum up to 5 axis. We are always looking for spare parts  If you have a broken down Fadal give a shout. |

INV-077 (Yaskawa) is what the newer machines 2003-up in my shop have. No failures so far with the Yaskawa, I have had AMC inverters last from 2yrs to 15 years and still going. |

| THE INV-0077 YASKAWA INVERTERS IN MY OPINION ARE DEFINITLY BETTER THAN THE AMC INV-0056 - BUT THE BALDOR INV-0020 ARE JUST AS RELIABLE - SO I WOULD USE EITHER ONE - LET THE PRICE BE YOUR GUIDE BETWEEN THE TWO |
