Ez-Router Serial Port

Anyone Know what the Com Port settings are for the Serial interface on a EzRouter 4x8?
I have emailed the support several times but they just don't want to know.
I'm realy thinking of just Gutting the Controls and replaceing them with a third party USB controller.

When did they start using the serial port? What is it for? They use MACH and the parallel port(s) as far as I know. Maybe they changed in the last year or so....???
