Hi,

DXFTool Professional Edition for CorelDRAW...

Hi,

DXFTool Professional Edition for CorelDRAW is now available. It adds two other export types (Polylines and Polyarcs), tunable conversion settings and more UI options. The Polyarc export type (Polyline with ARC bulges) is THE solution for those applications that say your DXF files are 'not linked'. You will NEVER have to manually link an import again with the DXFTool Professional Edition. Solidworks, Vectric VCarve Pro, Aspire and Cut2D, PlasmaCAM, AutoCAD and many more all benefit from this new technology for CorelDRAW. Current owners of ANY previous version can upgrade for the difference in the price. The DXFTool Professional Edition and all previous versions can install on the same computer without ANY problems so give it a try!

You can get a FREE 30 day / 30 export evaluation copy at http://www.CorelDRAWTools.com - the newest CorelDRAW addon source

Just In Water Jet Dual Pressure Valve Increases Productivity, Reduces Maintenance

Jet Edge’s patented Dual Pressure Valve®...

Jet Edge’s patented Dual Pressure Valve® greatly increases waterjet cutting productivity by allowing waterjet operators to control water pressure independent of the waterjet pump.

With the remotely-mounted Jet Edge Dual Pressure Valve, waterjet operators can run multiple waterjet tables simultaneously at various pressures with a single pump. Operators also can perform waterjet low-pressure piercing operations without waiting for the water jet pump to raise or lower to the desired pressure, saving time and reducing wear and tear on waterjet pump components.

The Jet Edge Dual Pressure Valve will operate with any manufacturer's waterjet pump, cutting head, or waterjet cutting system, and is fully configurable for pressure change ratios. Connection points are standard 60,000 psi-type. The Dual Pressure Valve is pneumatically operated and must be used in conjunction with another normally closed on/off valve or cutting head.

Customer Success Story
Creative Edge Master Shop, Inc. has greatly increased productivity and reduced maintenance with their Jet Edge Dual Pressure Valve.

Hi everyone,

I just joined this forum and...

Hi everyone,

I just joined this forum and wanted to introduce us as a company (Levil Technology). I think some of you might be interested in what we have to offer for CNC milling solutions. Any feedback is appreciated (good or bad).

We are a Florida based company dedicated to the manufacturing of Table top CNC milling machines. These are some of the attributes of our LV350D Plus that make our machines stand out:

Servo Motors
We have years of experience in motion control using servo motors in CNC machines and aviation instrumentation. 4000 counts/rev encoders with close loop feedback servos make motion control far more precise, reliable and a lot faster than stepper motors.

Rigidity and Precision
LV350D Basic utilizes Ball Rolled Screws with Backlash adjustable ball nuts for better precision and 15 mm Hiwin Linear guides far more reliable and durable than round guides or aluminum guides used in other machines. Resolution: 0.00003”, Positioning 0.0004” , Repeatability: 0.0002” .

Versatility
LV350D Plus comes standard with an 18000 RPM spindle and automatic tool changer for up to 15 tools. You can upgrade your machine to a high speed spindle (Colombo Spindle 40,000RPM) if your application requires very high cutting speed. Auto-tool changer will tremendously reduce the work load and cost of production. The machine is also ready for an easy to plug 4th axis if needed in the future.

Speed
Communication between machine and computer is via USB instead of parallel port for faster communication. LV350D has an incredible rapid traverse of 400 in/min and max feed of 236 in/min making it one of the fastest machines of its category.

You guys can take a closer look at our machines at www.levil.com

Hi,

The G201X will be available in early...

Hi,

The G201X will be available in early January. The G201 successor works to my satisfaction. We ordered boards and cans in quantity; both have a 30-day turn time. Here are the new features:

1) The G201X is 100% backwards compatible with the G201.
2) Recirculating mode while stopped. The motor is as much as 3-times cooler.
3) DIP-switch current set. No need to remove the cover to change settings.
4) Universal STP/DIR COMMON. Take it to GND, +3.3V, +5VDC.
5) 2.5mA STP/DIR input current. Anything can drive it.
6) Standby current is 50% (30% in the G201).
7) Power-on reset. The motor always always has holding torque on power-up.
8) No funny STP/DIR timing restrictions. DIR is clocked in on the STP edge.
9) Bronze color anodized can, white lettering.
10) 300kHz max STP frequency.
11) No external 470uF capacitor is needed.
12) Same price as the G201.

Just In PBC Linear Actuators Provide Smooth Horizontal Guidance in Sandblasting

Fabricated steel structures and processed steel...

Fabricated steel structures and processed steel are often treated with protective coatings or polished to ensure long life and enhanced appearances. To guarantee these coatings are solidly adhered to the fabrication and/or the raw steel component is esthetically pleasing it is necessary to remove rust, oil and other contaminants. Often this is done with a process called abrasive blasting. Abrasive blasting is a process that is used to make surfaces smoother and cleaner. A high-speed stream of abrasive material such as sand or glass beads is propelled out of a gun at the surface to burnish it and remove any surface contaminants. This process may create a hazardous and contaminated environment, resulting in safety issues for workers. PBC Linear was asked to provide a linear motion system that could not only accurately and reliably complete the required tasks, but also tolerate the extreme environment.

Abrasive blasting fills the air with rapid flying and possibly contaminated particulate. This presents a danger to a work force of hazardous dust, abrasive burns and high noise. Other issues are the uniform removal of debris from the steel components. To solve this obstacle, the manufacturing company decided to automate their blasting process of the steel shafting. This necessitated a sophisticated and durable linear motion system. PBC Linear recommended using environmentally protected linear actuators for the job. Enclosed in a special bellows design—protecting the actuator’s components from the harsh outer environment—PBC’s linear actuator provided the horizontal positioning of the abrasive blast gun. The benefits included more through-put, lower costs, less waste and a uniform finish to the steel components and the operators were safely isolated from the flying debris!

The Cryogenic Institute of New England, Inc. Receives International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Registration

Worcester, MA – November 10, 2009 – The Cryogenic Institute of New England, Inc., a U.S.-based cryogenic service provider to the global marketplace, announced the approval of its International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) registration from the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Political-Military Affairs. ITAR is a collection of regulations created to control the manufacture, export, and transfer of defense articles, information, and services. ITAR works to keep defense technology and information within the hands of U.S. persons only. The only exception to this is when the Department of State grants special approvals for foreign subjects.

The Cryogenic Institute of New England, Inc. has put in place controls and procedures to act in compliance with ITAR issued regulations. The U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) now recognizes the Cryogenic Institute of New England, Inc. to work with all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. The DDTC facilitates the ITAR registration under authority created by the Arms Export Control Act (AECA). The Cryogenic Institute of New England, Inc.’s approval for ITAR registration recognizes the company’s capability to handle items controlled by the U.S. Munitions List and be in compliance with governmental and international regulations. The company became ITAR registered as of October 13, 2009.

“As we see our customer base expand within the aerospace, defense and optical markets; it was a natural step to seek ITAR registration in order to support our customers on their most advanced and sensitive projects,” stated Robin A. Rhodes, President of the Cryogenic Institute of New England, Inc. “Through ITAR Registration, we will be able to better serve our customers in these industries, while assuring our clients of the highest levels of confidentiality and security,” Rhodes added.

The Cryogenic Institute of New England, Inc. commonly supplies specialty cryogenic processing services for sensitive components used in military, aerospace and defense applications. “We are the only cryogenic deburring and deflashing operation with ITAR registration and we expect this technology to grow even more from the weapons and defense sector,” stated Ryan M. Taylor, Product Marketing Specialist of the Cryogenic Institute of New England, Inc. Services that are expected to expand due to ITAR registration include cryogenic treatment, liquid helium processing, thermal cycling, shrink fitting, cryogenic deflashing and cryogenic deburring. “ITAR registration is yet another way that we distinguish ourselves from other providers in the marketplace,” Taylor added.
