Question DSP Question

Hi Guys, I need some help.

I am using Vectric cut 3D to create the g code and output is G Code mm (*.tap).
I then insert the USB drive into the DSP and run the file, it goes through it check file and for some reasons it has be stopping at 86% on one file then I tried another file and it went to 98.86%.

When I actually ran the 86% file it only cut 86% so I am a little confused.

Should it check to 100% if so why isn't it?

Wink Bring it over

Simon, Ramon is at work tomorrow ( Friday ).

If you can find the time - come and see us. Maybe bring your USB stick and also the DSP Controller

We can download some crv files from the vectric website, load them onto your USB stick and try them out on our machine. If that goes OK we could then plug in your DSP Controller and try the same thing.

Our 3 new machines should arrive next week sometime - so i do not mind playing around with our current machine now in order to try to sort out your problem. Our DSP cable is a bit dicky ( Jerry is supposed to be sending a replacement..... Well that was a month ago! ), but we should be able to make it work.

Look forward to seeing you if you can make it.

Rocket.

Just a quick update, I took my file and DSP to to Rockets place today to test out.
1. We tested my file on Rockets machine and have a guess what happen - It worked perfectly.
2. We then connected my DSP to Rockets machine and tested the same file and yep, it worked perfectly.
3. Now that I started to look like a numpty I decided to take my bits home and test it out again on my CNC.
4. Got home connected the DSP and loaded the file and it worked perfectly again. So now I am a real numpty.

OH by the way Rocket, thankyou for letting Ramon help me out today. I now have a bit more confidence to push forward and start cutting my molds.

Thanks guys.

Talking It just needed some " Image " magic.

Simon, That is excellent news.

So it was just one of those inexplicable glitches.

Only one thing to do now

Crank it up!
