Excitech Parts Thought I would start a parts thread. I'm having problems with my on/off power switch. Never really worked right, probably damaged in shipping a little. Now, its just annoying. Anything special I should consider before replacing it?

i have the xhym1325. i know this sounds simple, but i'm prone to making things more complicated than necessary most of the time. my on/off button functions this way; one push and the button goes all the way in, and releases half way back out. at this point, the router powers up. a second push, and the router powers down. a few weeks ago this changed. now, after the first push, the button releases half way, but the power does not stay on. it does stay on if i hold the button in, but it won't stay powered up by itself. my first thought was that the button is broken or the contacts are worn down. so, i took it all apart and can't find anything wrong. no broken plastic parts or worn down components. i did discover that both of the n.o. contacts blocks have a sight window in them so you can see the contacts. they do not look burnt or damaged. here's my questions. when the button is pressed the first time, and contact is made are the contacts in the switch supposed to stay in contact, or are the supposed to separate? mine now have a gap in between them. is this a momentary or a latching switch? is the main contact that this switch powers supposed to stay latched regardless of the switch?

Talking about parts...do you guys work with the vacuum bed? MY machine (3000 x 2000) is less than a year old and the levers at the ball valves are all worn out...used a vice grip, now they are nice and buggered.... Anyone else have the same problem?
