    bought A shg-0609

Well, very excited looked at many diffrent chinese manufacturers and decided to go with exitech because of their loyal following here, getting a small one first and going frome there! Got a question though are these little machines coming with er-16 or a larger size collet? i could not find and larger the 3/8 in this collet size but apparently i am getting a 12.7mm or 1/2" collet with it.

    xjdubber,
That is the same machine I have and it will be an ER-16 collet. The collet taper is 1/2" to accept ER16. 3/8" shank will be the largest bit you can use. Magnate and Onsrude make a decent selection of 3/8" shank bits along with the neccessary collets. Your machine will only have a 6mm and 3.2mm collet with the supplied kit.
