    Smile DSP Controller Clarifications

    Dear All

We are expecting our new excitech router to arrive in a months time.

I wanted to clarify, whether DSP controller can accept CAM programs written using CAM software such as DELCAM, VISICAM etc. Do these Software have POST PROCESSORS for DSP Controllers

Also, how are programs transferred to DSP controllers - Is it through DNC/USB/Ethernet

    Many thanks

    Regards
    Kumar

The DSP accepts a simple G-code, generally most CAM software will be able to output this. The best way would be to test the G-code using demo software.

The G-code is transferred to the DSP via a USB flash drive or via USB cable to a pc.
