| DUST EXTRACTION HEAD Hi All, my router dust extraction head is big, bad & damn ugly. does anybody know where i can source a maybe smaller type unit. as you will see by the pic if you dare to look the plastic sheet is thick, & after doing a few jobs it just looks like it will give me trouble. it drags itself around like the HUNCHBACK OF NOTREDAMN. i have seen some with brushes which seem to glide better. P.S. please excuse the high tech masking tape holding the tube to the head thanks heath |

| Dust hood. Why not build yourself one? Birch ply will work fine, you can even go acrylic on the lid so you can see what's happening. I am about to do the same, if you like, I will email you the code when I get it done. I am going to put a couple of those super bright LED clip-on lights on the inside of the hood. Hardware store counter has them for about $3/ea. Figured I'd velcro them on. Also, you should get a reducer for the vac hose, so you can use a smaller wet/dry type hose which is much easier to deal with. |
