    EXITECH FIRST JOB

    hi guys,
i thought i would post my first job i have chewed out on the router.
i still have dramas with the DSP i can't seem to save a start point being that it dosen't exist in the settings.
i have found the only way i can do this is by moving to my start point
pressing 4 which sets XY back to 0, then for Z just manualy lowering
to touch material with blade then pressing 8 to set to 0
    and away i go.
hoping to sort out with the guys from exitech

anyway here's my front counter job.
used white diabond, 8mm clear perspex laminated black digital print & vinyl
    film & presto.

    thanks
    heath

That sounds about right for how the DSP works. If you turn the machine off once the job is finished it will go back to where the start was before if you press the origin button. The DSP seems to be different that other CNC's in that it doesn't have a set origin as such, there is options for 9 different origin settings using the DSP and they are each able to be set independent of each other.

There is no setup for a fixed origin location, its more done on the fly so to speak.

    Hope this helps a little.

OH Yeah, the sign looks great, keep it up.

    Shannon.
