In answer to your question - Taney is a bloody ripper bloke who will look after you till the cows come home! If he tells you that he will do something - he will do it! The Excitech is a fantastic machine! You have made a wise choice! Relax, read the Excitech cnc Router Purchase thread and be happy in the knowledge that you will be " Excited " Rocket. |

| The pioneers in buying the Excitechs were " Esmae and Jimmy 007 " who both wrote of their purchase and the performance of the machines. That was enough for me. We sent our money to Taney at sh-cnc and they were absolutely a delight to deal with . Even now - about 8 months after our purchase, if we have any queries i know that i can send Taney an Email and he will answer very quickly. The only hiccup with the purchase was caused by myself because i did not appoint a Customs Broker/ Receiver to handle our container at this end of the shipping. By the time the shipping company informed me that i needed to organise it myself the container had arrived. This caused a one week delay. So make sure to find a Broker as soon as you order the machine. If you do not know one - just look in the yellow pages. Taney will send you all of the paperwork that you need for the Customs Clearing. You can then forward it to your Broker. I am currently looking at importing some trailers from China. But in this case i do not have anybody to verify the potential suppliers. May have to fly over there to check them out first. I have read some real horror stories on alibaba.com about shonky suppliers from China. Fortunately, this is not an issue with Excitech Routers. Rocket. |

| G`day Heath, Any news on the arrival of your machine yet? Hope you have been getting lots of practice with your software. What about router bits? Ramon is working our machine tomorrow ( Wednesday ) and i am going to take my camera to work in the hope of getting some good photos showing the basic operation of the machine. I will attempt to post photos and a commentary of each step in going from programming on the computer through to the finished product. Will post them tomorrow night. Rocket. PS Even though i am a lifelong Collingwood supporter - Heath Shaw should be sacked! |

| Don't Be Too Worried Signmad, I wouldn't be too worried. Excitech's are good machines, we've sold a few of them ourselves. The language barrier with the factory could be an issue. But with the help you'll get on these forums, I think you'll be all right. If you need anything, I'll help you any way I can. My advice is, be patient when going through the learning curve. Don't expect in all to absorb in one day. However, the machines are really easy to use. My background is in signs, every since I was about 7 or 8 years old. I have used all kinds of plotters and routers, and now I make routers. And the Excitech machines with the DSP handheld controller are well-suited for the average sign shop (though I wish you'd have bought one of ours ). I'm here if you need help.Josh Glenn --------- www.camaster.com www.cncexperts.com

| 1212 its ready to go !!!! rocket, taney emailed me yesterday machine floats out of qingdao on the 10th aug. i not sure what date it will arrive in melb. i have not order router bits. now its getting close i will sit down & try to sort out what i need. i have already picked up a job to cut 300mm high letters out of 10mm perspex. if anyone van advise what sort of bits i should buy i would really appreciate it i can see the bulk of my work will be cutting straight out of material. apart from software i am going with vetrics, eveything else you have told me has worked out, so i won't be going against the grain now the way it looks they machine is going to arrive in heat of battle so to speak. we will be moving to our new factory so i'm going to do my best to keep a cool head. stay tuned.
