wee problem with our busellato jet

we have a fault showing on screen warning( flashing) - STOP :CHECK COLLET and/or Tool Signals on ELECTRIC SPINDLE 2


we have overcame the problem but are wondering does anyone know the cause!! a wee note this has occured after a weekend of no use on machine and sudden drop in temperature! after we went through the heating spindle process the fault appeared on screen!

Did you get any more detailed error message ??

Anyway,,,, start with a good cleaning of all the sensors
next, check the connectors ON the router engine, I have had some problems with them loosening on the cnc machine I am running ( Jet 3006 ), but this machine have been i production since 02.....

Actually had to solider back a signal wire last week ( didn't get any look signal so the machine wouldn't run )

the problem still seems to be there, every couple of days we have to close all current programmes and start again!! have tried all the cleaning etc!! can anyone help???? cheers!

We had the same problem, we looked at the device signals and found that there was a conflict; 'Collet closed with tool' and 'Collet closed without tool' were both lit at the same time. We brought in a tech, who told us this was due to worn sensors inside the head and then 'fixed' the problem by instaling a toggle switch which would jump out the conflicting signals.
