Hi all. I joined this forum to see if anyone knows how a drive a printer or scanner motor directly. Kind of like this but from a computer. The idea is to use this to build an automated disc selector device where the carriage moves along and then a solenoid or motor pops up the required CD from its holding slot. I`ve spent some time searching the internet, and the youtube clip is the closest thing to what I want to do. Thanks for your help. |

| First - Welcome aboard! Second - Congradulations -- the computer driven disk selector - sounds like an updated JUKEBOX -- is that the plan?? When you find a printer and start the build - please share your progress! Cheers - Jim
