| I refuse to rot, but I might ferment a bit ![]() I read the post and it looked pretty open ended so far as getting any meaningful assistance. Research, then buy after you have prepared yourself to run the gauntlet. Or, buy a ready made machine from someone.

| That was the whole point of my first page all i wanted was some help because the one thing i have found out is controlling stepper motors is hard and confusing for beginners and i hoped that out there was some one to help steer me in the right direction,But there was no help and to prove the point its amazing how many replies you get in minutes if a few home truths are posted |

Hmm... Well, you did at least finish the post with "regards". |

| Would you have felt better if I had posted that I didn't have a clue about steppers. There is no onus on you to post queries here nor on people to respond; I think you need to get an attitude adjustment.

Savage Peter, Your moniker and social commentary on a public board's hospitality don't add up. Which side of the fence are you on? There are many good and bad ways to ask for help or illicit a response. A whole lot of information can be reaped by simply reading. Reading first often helps one to make a more specific request for help. Time, place (sub-forum) and whole lot of other factors influence the outcome. And please don't forget that this a free forum, give or take from it what you will. But wishing the whole lot to join you for a barbecue is not neccessary. Welcome aboard. |

| i read the post you are referring to , I've never heard of epe drivers nor do i have any working drivers that i would want to swap for some drivers that you can't get to work , so i couldn't help you , so would you have liked a reply saying sorry no info ? it only takes the capabilities of creating a completed thought to call a company and ask for some technical help and if you can't do that then i guess your sol may your plans to run cnc rot as much as your common sense and common courtesy has

WOW! Thats pretty harsh don't you think, you ask 1 question and the fine folks on this forum don't have the information you need so wish them all to hell, SHAME ON YOU. I am fairly new here, actually my second post but I have already learned soooo much just by reading' I try to find out the answers to my questions on my own and without bothering these guys. I know if I had a really good question anyone here that could help would do so but I will not ask simple questions that have been answered over and over without doing a little research on my own. Now I suggest you start by apologizing to these nice people then use the search function to try and find the information you seek, try calling or emailing the manufacturer of your parts for technical support or try reading a book, we know you have the internet, the answer is out there go find it don't expect these people to bring to you. It's not our fault you can't get it to work. |
