The stator cover was for me, 600rr, the tripple tree was a friend and the crash cages were for locals. I did a few gixxers, 900rr's, more for fun than anything.
I totalled my bike last year, don't do wheelies! I wrecked at 10mph and broke my pelvic bone because my dumb ass didn't bail out, I tried to save the bike because it was in mint condition... Smashed me right into the ground, I hit the ground and didn't move, no skiding, sliding, nothing, the bike bounced off of me and flipped over finishing the other side. Didn't walk for 2 weeks, took another 2 months to recover, still haven't bought another bike, but I will! Just won't screw around like I was.
Wished I had that on camera, I could only imagine what it looked like. My friend said it was the most f'd up crash he'd ever seen. I walked away, but my legs wouldn't work the next day...

did you hand build that frame? I honestly give the Japs a lot of credit for their engineering of sport bikes. My friend compares them to miniture fighter planes in terms of engineering. What kind of bike is that? A Honda S1? Never heard of that.

Designing triple trees can be "interesting." My first attempt worked well (I thought). I had the Triumph Bonneville up over 90 a few times, and thought it was great. Unfortunately I had a very slow get off in grass. The handlebars dug in and tried to twist, the front wheel tried to stay straight, and both top and bottom trees fractured at the tubes. It seems I had the pinch bolts too close to the fork tube holes and deminished the material in an important stress area. Glad it broke in a slow get off in grass, happy they didn't break at speed.

Made a new set with beefier webs and relocated pinch bolts. Making a set of raked trees for a sidecar equiped 66 Atlas 750 chopper. Always good to chop those rare old bikes the diehards tear their hair out at seeing.

What equiptment do you have available? Manual timing chain tensioners, extended oil pick-ups, tripple trees, spools and mini spools, even frame sliders. Stay away from crash cages, not enough money in there. If you have a bender and a welder, front and rear stands!

Hi I also do some cnc machining of motorcycle parts. have done triple trees. Custom covers with logos and engravings. License plate holders. some brackets trans adapters for HD's++
Do this as a side bussines And have only done one off parts no series. I think its great fun and could be a little money in it.

I have a Maho MH500 CNC mill and manual lathe.

I would really want to machine my own Roots supercharger anyone done that?

parts

We have been getting into 4 wheeler parts as they have become street legal in Sweden 2 years ago. We have sold skid plates, variator kits, and other odds and ends. Likewise it is was good side money for a while but now it is a good part of are sales. We also have defense contracts and a build some other products which we sell on our own. Can take in more work and want a partner.
