Hey guys, Need your input. I'm trying to compare the 225 tm-cnc with the tmi-cnc. the strongest argument i found thus far was the belt-driven system on the 225 TM produces more continuous power, 5hp compared to 3hp, than the TMi direct drive system. Also more continuous torque. So the TM would perform a bit better for hard-turning. But the tmi preforms much smoother with the motor incorporated into the headstock..... oh and the $25,000 price diff. |
