Hi folks, I was woodturning until a I managed to fall and trash my left wrist now looking for ways to control tooling and maybe branch out into other materials. I am a total noob where Mills and CNC are concerned, so be prepared for some dumb questions. Tim |

| Hi Tim, and welcome to the madhouse from sunny Norfolk.I'm just using age as my excuse to get into cnc, and the desire to start a new career at 70. I reckon I'm going for the ton, so I've only got 30 years to get my m/c finally built. Regards John

Hi John, Well you have a few years on me I must admit. I was medically discharged from the Royal Marines with a bug**red spine ... took up the wood turning as a 'beer money' hobby and to stop myself going insane. Then I go and mash my wrist. ended up having to be bolted back together again and not a lot of movement in it anymore. so I am back to square 1. I shall save a little, buy a bit, save some more etc. etc. but I hope to have something running before my bus pass is issued. I am looking forward to a lot of reading on here and I hope to pick some brains as well. Regards. Tim |
