Graham has pulled out from doing the idea. He sites event insurance from been his obstacle. I am half tempted to organize one for England from my remote place as far as Australia. I can almost guarantee its success.
In fact as a challenge, and for my own amusement of the power of the internet, I think I will organize one. It would only be a day event or two days max. I will start to canvass a few people for some possible sites. Leave it with me. This will be fun.

Fun indeed in a "savage amusement" kind of way I wish you only the best...Myself I can't organise a good meeting in a brewery... If you catch my drift

ive been involved in a few events before, assuming we have 100 people or less the legal required insurance will be around £150 for 1mil 3rd party cover and employers cover (needed even if people volunteer to help). That said you might need a uk resident to sign the policy.

Progress, There is an event in the works already, but I have been asked to hold off from promoting it just yet. From what I have heard, its going to be an attachment to an existing show and a test to see interest for maybe a stand alone one the next year.
I will let you guys know when I am given the green light.
