Hi I'm interested in the ORAC lathe as it seems like a high quality machine and I may be able to get one for a reasonable price but the spindle bore is pretty small at 20mm (I think), do you think it could be enlarged? If so to what diameter? Thanks

Hi; I know we always want bigger machine but be careful when you start enlarging spindle hole because the outside diameter stay the same and consequently the wall become thinner . This could result in some chatter problem in your machining when you try to use it. Take measurment in case you want to built a new spindle after. The material you use to build it will have a big influence also.

CAN I USE THE ORIGENAL SPINDEL DRIVE ELECTRONICS.
IS IT A 10V ANALOG INTERFACE OR HOW DO I CONNECT IT
TO MY BREAK OUT BOARD ?
