bulk packs of screws in UK

Does anyone know a supplier in UK that sells bulk packs of metric socket cap screws? I have been buying these 250pc packs from one supplier, but they only do M4-12 in a very limited number of lengths.

The cost and time delay of buying box at a time as i need them is quite annoying, so i really just want a good range to start me off, so i can buy refills as needed.

    have you tried screwfix?

I buy mine from there, maybe not the best place, but they also sell a set

    I bought 50 M4 x 16 for £1.70 ish the other day, and £2.50 ish for 50 m6

they also sell in larger packs, dunno, maybe an idea

    Dear daedalus,

Both RS and Farnell have a really good range. Google them. They do not, however, come at Screwfix prices.

    Good luck..

    Best wishes,

I use RS a lot- they're not the cheapest, but delivery and quality is spot on.

    rswww.com is the link.
I love deadlines- I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

thanks guys, i use both rs and farnell at the moment but the cost involved is quite steep. I was hoping that somewhere would sell a 'workshop pack', something like 2000 screws M3-M12 in a variety of lengths.

Drakkn: that ebay store is almost exactly what im looking for, thanks.
djh82uk: thanks, i didnt know they did cap screws, and the prices are great.
