Axminster SIEG X1 or Proxxon FF230

Hi,

I am totally new to milling and I need some help in choosing one of the above two mills.

Axminster X1 is really cheap, at £215, but I am worried that it will be wobbly and inaccurate. Proxxon FF230 costs three times as much and it has only 80mm on Y axis.

What experience did you have with those?

I cannot comment on the proxxon, but when i bought my mill, i was looking at a proxxon MF70, a Sieg X1 and a taig. In the end I bought the taig, and now all cnc'd. A lot of people said the taig was the most rigid. I am more than happy with my machine

I bought mine from peatol machine tools.
