    Cad/Cam Software

    Hi all new to the site but in have been reading for some time.I have just finnished building a benchtop mill (Compumill) whch has a Camtronics controller and can jog it about on the axis in Mach 1.I would like some suggestion on Cad/Cam software for the newbie that runs in XP and is easy to program.

    I have a couple of systems (2nd user) 2.5 axis up to 5 Axis depends upon your expertise and how much you want to pay

    Thanks for the reply, I have been looking on the net and Dolphin CadCam looks good and the price is quite good for Level 1.Any comments or guidness please .

    Hi Tony
    As I understand it Dolphin is a 2.5 axis package and if it does your job then ok, I believe it is limited in strategies and therfore more suitable for simple prismatic parts, The software I have available provides more for full 3 Axis and if required 5 Axis machining
