    Need help in Luxembourg

    Hi

I would need someones help to CNC the following two parts.

    ImageShack Album - 7 images
(will send high resolution pictures if you PM me your email)

They should be made of a very stiff and hard black plastic.

    0,01mm tolerance.

I would pay about 100-200€ for both parts. (depending on end result)

Please PM me if you are interested in the job.

    Best Regards

    Alex

So, you don't have any prints, but you need accuracy to 0.01mm? Really?

Sorry, I don't know very much about CNC and that is why I am asking someone for help.

    Is 0.1mm more realistic?

    Regards

That part is quite complicated. If you plan to have a part made just by sharing pictures you will be lucky to get +/- 1 mm... I would suggest you have the part scanned in so that you have a 3D model of the part, that can then get you somewhere close to 0.1 mm accuracy.

Accuracy should only be defined tight where it is needed, though. I have no idea what your part is or how it works, but I suspect most of the dimensions are there to "take up space" and are not critical at all. A few may need to be as close as 0.1, or even the 0.01 you started with, but there would be only a few of them that are needed that tight.

    Alex,

I have looked at the models and drawings. Have some questions about what you need and out of what type of materials. I should be able to cut the parts for you, will need to do a work up of a model to make sure we are on the same page and then figure out machine time for you.

Drop me an e-mail or message and we will see what can be done with them and go from there.

    Michael
