Hello,
I have damaged my control, a Heidenhain 3190 on my lathe, Gildemeister ctx400e 1999 model.
I can not get spare parts and must buy a new control. I have no economic opportunity or expertise to install a Siemens or HEIDENHAIN control.
Does anyone believe that Mach3 can do the task. The lathe have two C-axis and live tools. I use Edgecam and the programs are of basic character.
When it comes to knowledge, I have approx. 10 years experience with troubleshooting on their own machines. I make my own post processors for edgecam. But I have no experience with C + +, etc.
Is there please someone who can give me advice.
Mach3 is only good if you have compromise.
G96 Constant velocity is only change spindle speed.
(Feed is not changing with spindle speed)
No facing cycles. (solved)
Not accurate threading.
I'm retrofit 2 lathes and 6 milling machine with Mach3 with my daughter card.
(Gildemeister Ct-60, Csepel EV-630 the lathes)
spec:
64 Input/48 Output (24v optical isolated)(Atmel AVR PLC with Serial MODBUS control)
5 incremental encoder input
5 analog axis output (STEP/DIR conversion)
1 Manual pulse generator input
if you want i try to help you in the conversion with advice or hardware.
