I would like to say hello I’ve just joined this web site and thinking about making a CNC Machine with my 10 year old son over the summer holidays. I have down load the plans for the FLA100-00 as I think it’s makeable as a complete DIY. I like the idea of using the 8020 extrusions I however, as most people have questions Will this machine run off a computer without a speed (x, y, z controller?) I plan to run a soft start trend router but have no Idea yet as to stepper motors Size & the use of the machine will be acrylic and dibond. Cutting size of 500x650mm Any way that will do for now I live in Warwickshire, Uk James and Luke (my son)  |
