    Exclamation Hello from CRO Croatia

Hello to All in the Europe Club house,

I just recently moved to Croatia and am in the process of sourcing out companies to purchase the electronics and mechanics for a 5 axis build. Plans are in the mail and on their way - things take time to get to Croatia.

Wondering if any members in Croatia or Germnay have any great experiences with companies and locations that they purchased their electronics and mechanical parts from.

I'm looking for BallScrew and linear motion companies as well as 8020 (or equivalent) build materials.

I am also facing the facts that some items might have to be purchased out of country and posted from the US to Croatia - such as Gecko Drives and BOB (C10, C11g etc from cnc4pc.com) Have not decided on motor selection, but might be the same deal.

Maybe someone in Croatia is in the same boat as me, just startig a build and facing the same problems sourcing local materials/parts and wants to look at combining orders and spliting shipping costs on stepper drives, BOB, motors etc from out of country like Germany or the US, PM and we can discuss the option.

I've spent many hour on Cnczone, locating information, pdf files and searching out the free plan build options. If anyone is interested in saving some search time PM me and I can share my experiences and files thus far.

    Cheers! Hvala, Bog.

    Parts for CNC in Croatia

    Zeed,

Ducati did not have the greatest of season this year in GP for sure, but next year will be something Special with an Italian on an Italian Bike!! But this is not a bike forum lol. PM me for long conversations about 2 wheeled riding...

I have been looking around online and have found a supplier for Thompson Linear Rails in Croatia. I am still looking for Aluminium Profile such as the 80/20. Did you find that link? I would love to find a supplier here in Croatia - the cost to ship from Germany is waaaay to expensive due to sizes.

What other parts have you found in Croatia for your machine?

I dont think I will find a BOB or Stepper motor or stepper driver supply in Croatia for cheap - not with import and 23% PDV thats for sure. These I will have to order from USA.

How far along are you in your build? What style of plans are you building? Fixed Gantry or moving Gantry?

    Bok.

well to be honest my budget for cnc is not so big,so I use what i got

My previous machine was just a test to see if I can do it,played little bit with it and then sold it.I used chines ta8435h driver board,2 PC power supply, bearings and stuff I got in my garage.
It worked preety nice for my needs but decided to build something stronger.
I am building moving gantry type machine, with diy slides,100% steel construction ...Will have work envelope around 300x300mm
Now I am waiting for my new drivers to arrive, bought them on ebay,70V 6A max, motors also from ebay,270oz-in(1.9Nm)..

Yesterday I finished my unregulated power supply 24-70V,works nice

This is the place my friend recommends for 8020:

    INOSIS ITEM d.o.o.
    ZA PROIZVODNJU I TRGOVINU
    Adresa:
    STUPNIČKE ŠIPKOVINE 3
    10255 Stupnik
    Telefon:
    01 / 3457577
    Fax:
    01 / 3457578
    Mobitel:
    098 / 247150

Some parts can also be found here:
    trolist
    cnc-db
but too much expensive for my taste

Also some stuff like motors and rails can be found on this adds:
    Njuskalo.hr oglasnik - Rezultati pretrage
