Smile Hello from Germany

Hi,

I am a newbie in milling and lathe works. I am currently building up my little hobby workshop in the attic of my home.

I have a ZX7016 (HBM16 / Camelbus ZX7016) drilling/milling machine plus a 9x19 inch RC6123B (RC-Machines) lathe, which is similar to Grizzly G-4000.

The little ZX7016 is a little bit uprated by a solid colum. I am currently in the middle of adding DRO with chinese digital vernier scales and later with a centralized remote display for all three axis.

The photo is a bit older as I have reinforced the table with additional horizontal beams.

The whole hobby workshop is made on a tight budget, so excuse some cheap workarounds and utilities.

Cheers,

Daniel

Daniel, looking good.

What do you plan to start building first?

Best,

BW

Hello Bob,

I have no real project at the moment. I have to learn so much in metal working first.
I am restauring (japanese) cars as a hobby and I want to build or modificate parts for it.
I have some relatives who learned working on lathes and mills for their job, so I am happy to have some help to learn it.

Cheers,

Daniel
